Beepin' Bloggin' Blogger Buddys
I want to encourage all you believing bloggers out there to keep on being a witness for Christ. I take pleasure reading about your lives. I enjoy reading about your love for your children, your love for your husbands, your Aunts, Uncles, nephews, nieces, sisters and brothers. That might sound a little crazy but I really do read about all those things in people’s blogs. I examine the way people relate to their mother or to their daughter in law. I observe a godly example for instance in Laura Maddox’s blog as she writes
about her relationship with her boyfriend. Her Christ like decisions lead others on to pursue the same in decision making. - She writes examples of his godly character and those things which a believer SHOULD be attracted to in another person they consider being serious with.
I feel affection for Carrie- Margaret when I read how she waited on the Lord to bring Andrew into her life.
She points out what God is doing and the encouragement she is receiving from her brothers and sisters in Christ. What a testimony that girl has! Others are also enlightened. I delighted in reading about the Wallaces and the exictement they have in her pregnancy.
In a generation that doesn’t like kids they have a wonderful testimony of receiving children with joy. Libby’s log reminds us to live this year with an eternal perspective.
In a generation that has little home life, few family models of love, traditions, gatherings etc - Jesus' body of believers show the way … No, maybe not to someone who has already found the way but to those who are walking together and to those who are needing a lead. I am always challenged by our church motto – learning together to live like Christ and reaching out in His name. Our church has some pretty marvelous people because we serve a Marvelous God. Believers and unbelievers alike are challenged by blog-reading when they see what God is doing in lives around the world. When we read about tight relationships of people like the Thurmans, the Wallaces and The Hibbs some who have never seen a good marriage or know what a family is learn that which to follow by reading of their experiences. By the way have you read Seth or Trina's blog from Africa? - AMEN! Shawnda's blog is quite heartwarming as her desperate need for Jesus is met through the Word of God.
All throughout the scriptures men and women give testimony of how God is or has or will work in their lives. Paul himself speaks of the things in which the believers were to follow in example- and also makes mention of those things which not to follow. There is nothing selfish when your greatest desire is to please the Lord and give testimony of how God is living and active in your life and the lives of other’s. The spiritual world exists- God is ALIVE and you can confidently declare it, proclaim it, and indulge in it even with a first hand mouth. Keep right on being a witness you bloggers out there. Your love for the Lord shines through with HIS GLORY!
